Agenda
See the detailed agenda for the CHO Academy December 8 – 11, 2019 here.
Dates
December 8 – 11, 2019.
Meet-and-greet and dinner
We start the night before the actual training for a meet-and-greet, fun and dinner. We do some teambuilding to get to know each other. If you possibly can, try and make it for this – it adds a lot of value to the training itself.
We meet on Sunday December 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Details are in the agenda.
Venue for training
Our venue is in central Copenhagen.
MBK
Pilestræde 61, 2nd floor
1112 Copenhagen K
Denmark
Meals
The price includes breakfast and lunch on the 9th, 10th and 11th of December, 2019, the welcome dinner on the 8th, dinner and sightseeing on the 9th and the farewell dinner on the 11th. Please let us know as soon as possible and preferably before November 11th, 2019 if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Dress code
There is no dress code, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and happy. December in Denmark can sometimes be a bit cold and grey, sometimes beautiful, so we recommend you wear layers to easily adjust to the weather, and bring a warm coat, maybe also a hat and gloves.
Do you need a Visa?
Not sure if your visit to Denmark requires a visa? Please check the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
Finding a place to stay
Hotels in Copenhagen are generally good but quite expensive. We recommend that you find a place in central Copenhagen for easy access to the venue on foot – or by bike, like everyone else in Copenhagen does it. We recommend looking for a good deal through hotels.com or similar websites.
Here are some hotels/high end hostels that we can recommend from least expensive to more pricey:
Wakeup Copenhagen
Steel House Copenhagen
Ibsens Hotel
Copenhagen Island
Guldsmeden Hotels
Hotel Kong Arthur
Tivoli Hotel
Hotel Skt. Petri
Also, Airbnb has many great places in Copenhagen.
Tickets and cancellation policy
Tickets can be purchased with credit card or paypal through eventsoftware Tito.
Please note our cancellation policy:
Cancellation up to 2 months before the Academy: 100% refund
Cancellation up to 1 month before the Academy: 50% refund

Getting around in Copenhagen
There is excellent public transportation all over Copenhagen. Depending on where you’re staying in the city, a City Pass Small can cover all transport from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and to the training venue. You can purchase your City Pass in advance here or in ticket machines. Google maps is great for planning your trip by train, metro or bus to the venue and where you’re staying.
All taxis in Denmark accept payment by major credit cards. Uber is not available in Denmark.
Of course, the fastest, easiest and most Danish way to get there would be to rent a bike. There are numerous bike shops that provide rental bikes and a city bike program as well. Here’s a great collection of things to know before you start riding a bicycle in Copenhagen.
